A safe and efficient path from paper archives to a digital everyday
Paper folders, drawing rolls, and assorted binders take up space, slow down information retrieval, and wear out over time. With scanning sevices, you convert everything essential into digital files that are easy to share and archive. Sokkeli’s scanning service is built as a smooth end-to-end process: we scan your material with high quality, structure the files as agreed, and deliver them securely—or recycle them according to your instructions. After scanning, we finish the materials directly as print products, presentation assets, or design resources, so you get the entire chain from one partner without middlemen (Scanning Services).
Once the digitisation is done, the next steps are handled under the same roof: small- and large-format prints are produced swiftly via Digital Printing, technical documentation and site drawing sets are handled via CAD Printing, and for file transfer and management you’ll find tools under Digital Services. Products—like posters, roll-ups, bindings, and A4/A3 prints—are collected on the Products page, and you can place an order conveniently on Order.
What does “scanning sevices” mean in practice?
When we talk about “scanning sevices,” we mean a complete service where paper-based information is converted into high-quality digital files. It can be a single contract or an old photograph, a project folder with hundreds of drawings, or archives spanning years. After scanning, the information is quick to find, easy to share with the team, and ready to use in other systems.
Sokkeli serves both businesses and private customers—design studios, housing companies, and builders as well as households digitising family albums. If you like, we can also continue after scanning straight to finished print products.

What materials do we scan?
- Office documents and binders – contracts, minutes, reports, and letters converted into multi-page PDFs or separate images as required.
- Construction and design drawings – architectural and HVAC sets, site materials, and CAD prints preserved digitally; and if needed, printed right away: CAD Prints.
- Marketing and brochure materials – legacy flyers, brochures, signage, and posters that can be updated and reprinted after scanning: Digital Printing.
- Photographs and large images – for example, exhibition posters or treasures from display cases captured for safekeeping and, if needed, re-printed (see Posters and Light box Posters).
- Folders, notebooks, and bindings – we can gently remove light bindings for scanning and reassemble the material, or rebind it neatly: Wire bindings and Glue bindings.
If you prefer a streamlined, productised solution where scanning, naming, and archiving are handled for you, you can also start from the product page: Scanning.
How does the process work?
1) Scoping and plan. We agree what to scan, in what order, at what quality, and into which formats (e.g., multi-page PDFs with text search, separate images, or a hybrid). If needed, we take a sample of the materials.
2) Intake and preparation. We receive your materials, remove clips and staples, flatten, align, and sort them.
3) Scanning and quality assurance. We scan at the agreed resolution, correct skew, and balance contrast.
4) Naming and structuring. Files are saved using agreed naming conventions (e.g., projectnumber_date_version) and organised into a folder structure that works for you immediately.
5) Delivery and follow-up. We hand over the files securely and, if you need physical materials, we produce them right away: A4/A3 prints, Folded brochures, Stapled booklets, or eye-catching Roll-ups.
Why choose Sokkeli—and why now?
Scanning sevices is not just “taking pictures of paper.” Quality digitalisation shows in two ways: you find what you need in seconds, and the files look exactly as they should—even years from now. Sokkeli brings scanning and printing under one roof. That means you can both digitise and refresh your materials with a single partner: a brochure updated and sent to print, a site drawing set re-issued, exhibition posters made from photographs—all in one place.
You also save time and space: when binders turn into bits, the archive is always within reach—shareable with remote teams, backed up, and version-controlled. For deliveries of finished products you can also use our Delivery service to make sure materials arrive at the right time and place.
File formats, naming, and archiving practices
Good planning is half the archiving. Together we define file formats (e.g., multi-page PDF or individual image files), OCR text recognition, naming conventions, and the folder structure before scanning. This ensures the digitised information integrates smoothly into your processes—whether it’s project management, document control for a housing company, or updating marketing materials.
Once the foundation is set, you’ll get the full benefit of digitisation in subsequent work too: printing, distribution, and publishing. If you handle lots of large files or want centralised management, take a look at Sokkeli’s digital tools under Digital Services.
Combine scanning sevices and print products—with one partner
Many projects don’t end with scanning—that’s when the next step becomes possible. Once your materials are digital, we can quickly turn them into durable, high-quality print products. Imagine a pipeline where trade-show materials digitised this month become visible posters and roll-ups next month—and are delivered as agreed. It’s easy to build a practical setup around these products: A4/A3 prints, Flyers & Cards, Folded brochures, Posters, Roll-ups, Wire bindings, Glue bindings, and Delivery.
Who is scanning sevices for?
- Companies and offices: consolidate scattered documents in one place; naming and search features speed up daily work.
- Design and construction professionals: drawing sets and site documentation in digital form, from which it’s easy to print the latest version: CAD Prints.
- Housing companies: annual reports, minutes, and contracts stored in a clear structure and kept safe.
- Culture and events: preserve exhibition materials and archive photos—and at the same time get fresh prints: Posters, Light box Posters.
- Private customers: turn family albums and important papers into digital form—and, if you wish, into beautiful photo products.
Frequently asked questions about scanning sevices
Can I bring a mixed collection of papers and photos?
Yes. We’ll sort, flatten, and scan the materials in the agreed order. We can combine material from binders and loose sheets into a single PDF or a coherent folder structure.
Do you scan large drawings and posters too?
Yes—wide-format items and construction drawings are typical assignments. After scanning, you can also order new prints if needed: CAD Prints and Posters.
How are the files named and how are they delivered?
We agree on the naming model (e.g., project–date–version) and the delivery method in advance. We can deliver via a secure transfer service or save the files directly into your systems. See also Digital Services.
Can I order print products from the same place after scanning?
Yes—that’s one of the biggest advantages. Following scanning, we produce, for example, A4/A3 prints, Folded brochures, Stapled booklets, and Roll-ups.
How fast is scanning sevices?
The schedule depends on the scope of the materials and any required post-processing. Small batches can be handled quickly, and for larger projects we create a clear plan from start to handover.
